A suspect is in custody after a domestic dispute led to a stabbing in north Knoxville.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. at an apartment on Scheel Road.
Officers detained the suspect at the scene.
They found the male victim inside the apartment with a cut on the back.
Paramedics took him to UT Medical Center for treatment.
Investigators said the stabbing appears to be the result of a domestic violence situation between the two residents who live in the apartment.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the suspect.
