Knoxville Police are still working to determine the cause of an accident that tied up traffic in West Knoxville during rush hour.

The wreck, on I-40 east between Pellissippi Parkway and Cedar Bluff, was reported just after 6:00 am.

Investigators say a Toyota Camry and a Ford F-150, were traveling east on I-40 when they crashed into each other.  After the collision, both vehicles ran off the interstate, but stayed within the interstate fence. The Camry flipped onto its top.

Three people in the Camry, driven by Neverra Craig, 41, of Toledo, Ohio, were transported to UT Medical Center to be treated for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Ford, Wendell Taylor, 68, of Knoxville, was taken to Park West Hospital with not-life threatening injuries.
