Anti-abortion demonstrators displayed graphic images Tuesday on Market Square.

Typically the group demonstrates on UT and other university campuses, but Tuesday it picked a more visible location in the heart of Downtown.

Some visitors in Market Square say the graphics were disturbing and inappropriate for children.

"I am slightly bothered by the display. I don't mind free speech and political speech is fine, but as first-time visitors to Knoxville, it's a little bit jarring to come down and sit down and eat lunch with our family and our son and have the kind of pushed in our face," said Market Square visitor Kevin Owens.

The southeast director of the group Dr. Fletcher Armstrong says it shows these graphic images to the public in order to "change the hearts of the American people."
