COLUMBUS, Ohio - A 97 year-old woman was found alive Saturday in a dried-up creek bed after she had missing for several days.
Edna Clay's son said she walked away from her home Wednesday.
For the past several days friends and family searched for her along with the Vinton County Sheriffs department.
The elderly woman was taken to a hospital in Columbus, Ohio after being found in a wooded area not far from her home.
Rescuers said Clay may have suffered some broken bones. They said she was alert and talking when she was found.
