ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) -- Like father -- like daughter. Dia Matteson is now the youngest female Harley dealer in the U.S. She's taking over her father's Harley franchise in Anchorage, Alaska.
Even at 25, Dia is no newcomer to the motorcycle business. She's served as the company's general manager since 2008.
Her personal rides are an '09 Harley Street Glide and an '09 Buell Lightning.
Dad, Barry Matteson, tells the Alaska Journal of Commerce it's a great feeling to keep the dealership in the family.
Dia isn't alone in riding motorcycles. Alaska has more female riders per capita than any other state.
