Update 10:31 a.m.

A spokesperson with the Knox County Sheriff's Office says a Knoxville man is in critical condition at UT Medical Center following a motorcycle accident Sunday.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says 31-year-old Steven Perry was riding with another man.  Perry passed him and lost control as he rounded a curve in the 6300 block of Burnett Creek Road.

Perry was thrown down a 30 foot embankment.

Emergency responders took him to UT Medical Center.

Investigators say the motorcycle he was riding was stolen. Perry's license was also revoked.

Editor's note: 10News previously reported Perry was deceased.  It was based on information given to us by the Knox County Sheriff's Office.
