Kroger pet food recall turns into class-action lawsuit

A recall that involved more than 68,000 bags of pet food is now turning into a class-action lawsuit.

Back in 2010, Kroger recalled the food over concerns of a kind of fungus called Aflatoxin.

The Old Yeller food was made here in Tennessee, and at least one family claims it killed their dog.

They are now the lead plaintiffs in a class-action suit involving 17 states including Tennessee.

That lawsuit is open to anyone who believes their pets were impacted.
