Cherokee Caverns is set to host this year's Cool Down in the Cave, a one-day opportunity for the public to come and enjoy the cool underground air Saturday.
The caverns stay at about 58 degrees year round and offer over 1,000 feet of lighted trails to explore.
Cherokee Caverns is on Oak Ridge Highway in Knoxville.
The caverns will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $7 for those ages 7 and older.
