Thousands of shoppers flooded stores across Tennessee to buy school supplies, clothes and other items.

Even though it was still a busy weekend, shoppers said it was not near as crowded compared to other years.

Store managers at Target said there have been fewer shoppers, but their are still raking in a lot of revenue.  They say their sales are on track compared to last year.

The tax free weekend will extend into the week on some items like computers, clothing and all the school supplies.

Computers and tablets must cost less than $1,500 to qualify for the tax-free weekend. Clothing and school supplies are eligible if they cost less than $100.
