Cocke County deputies arrested an 80-year-old great-grandfather after raiding his home for prescription drugs on Friday.
Eighty-year-old Ralph E. Teague has been on federal probation since 1999
after being convicted of dealing cocaine. U.S. marshals arrested him
over the weekend for violating his parole.
Officers also arrested his son, Gary Tegue, the son's girlfriend, Regina Webb, and another man, Chris Suggs during the raid as well.
Authorities said they found at least three empty bottles of oxycodone, prescribed to the son and others just three weeks earlier, within the residence.
The Cocke County sheriff said officers found over $13,000 dollars in cash. Officers also confiscated two vehicles from the property along with thousands of dollars worth of electronics. Authorities said these items were allegedly traded for pills.
Ralph Teague appeared before U.S District Judge Ronnie Greer in Greeneville on Friday, who sent him to jail without bond.
