At every locations across the county, including the one in West Knoxville, kids received free cholesterol, glucose and vision checks. Its pharmacies also gave out DNA and fingerprint kits to parents at no cost.
Sam's Clubs hosts these types of health-care events on the second Saturday of every month. Each month has a different focus. Next month, Sam's will target diabetes on Saturday, September 8th.
Sam's said it has given 1.4 million free medical screenings over the past year and a half.
