An Andersonville man is dead following a motorcycle accident Sunday.
According to a report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Larry Ballard was killed when his Harley Davidson motorcycle was hit by a Chevrolet Cavalier. Crystal Laymance of Harriman was driving the vehicle.
According to the report, Laymance was traveling westbound on Mountain View Road when she attempted to make a left turn onto Highway 27. That's when she turned into Ballard's path, hitting him.
Laymance was not injured. That investigation is ongoing.
