A Maryville Marine who's been in Afghanistan since January got a warm welcome home Monday.
Cpl. Jonathan Blake is back in East Tennessee on a 14-day leave.
A group of family and friends waited for him and welcomed him home when he got off the plane at McGhee Tyson Airport.
His wife flew in to see him all the way from Camp Pendleton, California, where the couple is stationed.
Corporal Blake said he's been looking forward to seeing his wife and family.
"I just really wanted to see my family. I haven't seen them in a while, I haven't seen my wife. I really miss them all, that's all I was really looking for," he said.
Cpl. Blake also said he was really craving a sandwich from Subs and Such.
