Loudon man charged with growing, selling marijuana

A Loudon County man is facing multiple drug charges after a two-month undercover investigation.

According to Sheriff Tim Guider, Bradley Scott Heater, 44, was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Marijuana, Felony Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana for Resale, Maintaining a dwelling for unlawful activity, and two counts of unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

On Friday, investigators went to Heater's home on Vonore Road in Loudon to arrest Heater on suspicion of selling marijuana to undercover sources.  While at the home, the investigators say marijuana and drug paraphernalia in plain sight.

The investigators got a search warrant, and found approximately 70 marijuana plants in the overgrown back yard of the residence. They also discovered equipment in the house for growing marijuana indoors and approximately three and a half pounds of marijuana.

Heater is in the Loudon County Jail under a $63,000 bond.
