A popular spot for boating in Oak Ridge is now the scene of a police investigation.
According to Oak Ridge Police Chief James Akagi, a church bus was discovered submerged in Melton Hill Lake off Edgemoor Rd. On Monday, crews pulled the bus out of the water.
They are back there on Tuesday continuing the investigation. The Anderson County Sheriff's Department dive team is assisting in the search.
They are releasing no further details at this time.
