UNION CITY, Tenn. (AP) -- About 300 National Guard soldiers from West Tennessee are returning from a yearlong deployment to the Middle East.
Army National Guard officials told the Union City Daily Messenger that about 150 members of the 913th Engineer Co. would be back in Obion County on Thursday. The soldiers have been deployed in Kuwait and Afghanistan.
More than 160 soldiers from the 230th Engineer Battalion returned to their home base in Trenton on Tuesday.
