It's easy to take air conditioning for granted, but this Sunday, members of a local church will have to go without.

Someone stole all five units from Knob Creek Baptist Church in Seymour.

ACs are a common target because they contain copper, and while thieves usually receive less than $100 per unit for the metal, it can cost thousands to replace.

Members of Knob Creek believe it will cost around $14,000 to replace their units, though they do have insurance.

"Somebody just don't care for anybody anymore. I don't know what the reason is, but they'll do anything, and when it comes to God's house, he'll take care of it. We've got to forgive, but he'll take care of it for us," said Eddie Catlett.

The church hopes to get new units in place within a week, but they may have to move one of their services to another part of the building in the meantime.
