Workers touched up electrical work on the JFG sign before it goes up at its new location tomorrow.
This newly renovated sign, which has LED lights, new location will be at the Kerbela Temple near Gay Street in Downtown Knoxville.
Two years ago, the JFG sign, which was located at the southern end of the city, was taken down during the Boomsday Festival in 2010 in order to restore it to its former glory.
This sign will once again light up the downtown skyline, after the city flips the switch on this iconic piece of Knoxville history, during this year's Boomsday Festival over Labor Day weekend.
