Police in Alcoa paid their final respects Tuesday to a long-time police officer, James Edward Bowman.
Friends, co-workers and even strangers poured into Smith Funeral Home in Maryville for visitation.
Officials say Bowman died of natural causes.
Bowman served on the force since 2000 and is an Army veteran.
