The Knoxville Police Department has released the names of the two victims and the suspect in a West Knoxville club shooting early Saturday morning.
Police said Jeffery Mize, 30, and Elder Vasquez, 33, are still recovering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
Authorities confirmed they arrested Ignacio Vidales, 33, from Oak Ridge in connection with the shooting. Officers said he has been charged with aggravate assault.
The shooting happened just after 2 a.m. at La Cueva Club on Sutherland Avenue, according to a release from the Knoxville Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds. One had been struck in the chest, while the other was shot in the leg.
Mize said he had been working security when he went outside to investigate a loud disturbance. That's when the shooting happened.
Both victims were transported to the UT Medical Center.
