A multiple vehicle accident on I-40 Tuesday afternoon left one person dead and three people injured.
It happened on Interstate 40 around mile marker 322 near Crossville.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol a car was heading eastbound on I-40 when it crossed traffic and hit a tractor trailer heading westbound.
The car spun out and hit another tractor trailer which ejected the driver of the car.
The accident killed the car's driver 53-year-old Ricky Davis of Crossville.
A passenger in the vehicle was injured as were the two drivers of the tractor trailers.
