Knoxville-area Papa Murphy's used the month of August to help make a kid's wish come true.
Last month, a dollar from the purchase of every Mini Murph Pizza was donated to the Make a Wish Foundation of East Tennessee.
The organization grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses.
Tuesday afternoon, a check for almost $800 was presented to the foundation to go toward that goal.
"Why do we do it? To give back, why else? We love organizations like Make a Wish, and we just want to give back," said Trina McMahan with Papa Murphy's.
"Se we want these kids to keep fighting and realize that no matter what they have, the disease that they fight every day, that there is a reason to keep fighting and have a good future," said Bob Lewis with the Make a Wish Foundation of East Tennessee.
It costs around $6,200 to fulfill a wish.
