B&W Y-12, which operates the Y-12 National Security Complex, has announced it is threatening to terminate the contract of its security provider WSI Oak Ridge after an incident just last week.

In July, the complex was the site of a break-in by protesters that led federal officials to stop all nuclear activities there. Officials cited a list of security violations that allowed the break-in to take place.

Last month, Y-12 officials put WSI on notice, asking it to explain its actions.

Last Tuesday, Y-12 announced that there was what it calls a "personnel incident." It does not go into details about the incident, but says there was no risk to employees or the community.
