We're learning more about the fatal stabbing that killed a West Tennessee family through the eyes of a 9-year-old girl who survived.
Nashville police say the girl's brother, mother and grandmother were killed early Sunday morning by a neighbor.
The girl's great aunt, Deb Grey, says the girl woke up to her brother's screams. She also heard her grandmother yelling at the suspect to get out.
When her grandmother fell to the floor, the girl ran to the basement and found her mother's body. She went out the back and ran to a neighbor for help.
Grey says the girl is staying with an aunt and uncle while the family figures out what's best for her.
