A grassroots effort is underway to save a one-of-a-kind place.
Cumberland County resident Horace Burgess built the 100-foot tall treehouse years ago and hundreds of people tour it every week.
A few days ago, the state ordered Burgess to shut it down. They say the treehouse is a fire hazard.
An online petition is now place to keep the treehouse open. Nearly 500 people have signed already.
