An East Tennessee-based company is adding two more patents to its growing list.
DeRoyal Industries, which is a global supplier of medical products and services in Powell, announced two new patents Tuesday.
One is for the "element ankle brace", which is a brace with a strapping system that stabilizes the heal to prevent the ankle from twisting.
The other patent is for a safer means of counting and handling surgical sharps in hospital operating rooms.
