Ramsey House Country Market
The 48th Annual Country Market will take place this year on September 22nd, from 10am-4pm at Historic Ramsey House, 2614 Thorn Grove Pike in Knoxville. This year's event will feature a classic car show as well as music, entertainment, arts & crafts, antique dealers, old fashion ice cream & cobblers, great Wallace bar-b-q. Mrs. Ramsey's kitchen will be serving hot dogs, beans and corn bread as usual.
Admission to the event is a $5.00 parking fee. Tours of the home will be conducted by docents in period dress and will be available for $5.00 per person. All proceeds from this event go toward continuing our mission to educate, preserve, and interpret the history and cultural life of early Tennessee and the important role of the Ramsey family.

Duels & Desserts
The Wild Thyme Players present Duels and Desserts on Friday, September 14 at the World's Fair Park. Students from the theater troupe's Shake, Rattle & Role classes will demonstrate various fighting styles and weapons, including broadsword, rapier and dagger, quarterstaff, epee, and unarmed stage combat. As for the taste treats, rumor has it there will be lots of high-level chocolate, real butter, and maybe some cupcakes. Sampling starts at a reception at 6:30 pm. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.
