In a live report among the Vol Navy, 10News' Allison Bybee spoke with Knoxville Fire Department Spokesman DJ Corcoran about boating safety ahead of Saturday's game against Florida.

Corcoran said several agencies will have a presence on the water including KFD, TWRA, and KPD.  Those boats will be there for emergencies large and small.

Corcoran urged boaters to tailgate responsibly. He said the open container law prevents a boat operator from having an open container while at the helm.

By Friday morning, about 50 boats were on the water awaiting kickoff.  Dozens more are expected.

On campus, 10News' Russell Biven reported live from campus where ESPN is setting up camp near the stadium.
