A woman seriously injured in a trolley accident on Labor Day has passed away.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says the accident happened in Gatlinburg at the intersection of Bebb Road and County Highway 2435.
Troopers say the trolley was carrying passengers when it turned to avoid another vehicle.
Some of the pavement crumbled away, causing the trolley to overturn. That threw a passenger out of her seat.
66-year-old Eunice Spencer of Michigan was hospitalized and passed away Friday afternoon.
