Gamma Sigma Sigma Sorority at the Carson-Newman College set up a fresh lemonade stand on its campus to help fund cures for childhood cancers on Saturday afternoon.

A four-year-old girl battling cancer, named Alex, created this idea more than a decade ago.

Alex's Lemonade Stand is now a national foundation. It has raised more than $45 million since it started.
