As the November election gets closer, we got a chance to see the election hub in Knox County for the Republican Party.

The Victory Headquarters, as it's called, will use new technology to contact voters in the coming weeks. It's one of three centers across the state.

Volunteers will be making phone calls in support of Mitt Romney, as well as Republican candidates in Tennessee races.

The state's Republican Party chair says this new technology will help those volunteers.

"Being able to call directly without a script, not having to dial on the phone, it really utilizes our volunteers' time and utilizes technology," said Chris Devaney.

Those volunteers won't just be contacting people in Tennessee; they will have the opportunity to call people in nearby swing states like Virginia and Ohio.

The Knox County center also has Romney t-shirts, signs and buttons for supporters.
