The iPhone 5 doesn't hit store shelves until Friday, and it's already being targeted by thieves.
Police say eight people got into a Middle Tennessee Best Buy store by ramming a stolen vehicle into a door at the loading dock.
While they were looking for the iPhone 5, police say they had to settle for older iPhones, some iPads and other electronics.
The suspects left with more than $100,000 in merchandise.
Police say similar burglaries are happening across the country, all targeting the iPhone 5.
