A 5-year-old Tennessee boy who was in the back of a car when it was stolen is home safe.
Police in Antioch say the car was stolen when the boy's parents went to pick up another child Tuesday evening and left him in the backseat.
A couple found the boy wandering alone at a truck stop. Police say they believe the boy walked to the truck stop after the suspects dropped him off in the area.
"And my husband saw this little boy coming towards us in the parking lot and I turned around, and when I looked down, he was sobbing hysterically, and I got what is wrong and just sobbed and sobbed and I go 'I'm going to help you,'" said Toni Lutrick.
The couple didn't leave the boy until he was back with his mom. Police also found the stolen car at the truck stop.
Right now, police have no leads on who took the car and the child.
