Authorities have released the name of a Pigeon Forge man killed Thursday morning on Highway 92 in Jefferson County.
The accident happened around 1:20 a.m. at the Indian Ridge Road intersection.
According to a THP report, 53-year-old Tony G. Roberts was driving his 1995 Saturn four door northbound on Highway 92 when the vehicle went off the left side of the road.
Troopers say Roberts overcorrected and the vehicle went off the right side of the road striking a light pole.
Roberts was not wearing a seat belt.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that killed one person on Chestnut Hill Rd. in Jefferson County early Thursday morning.
The road is now open after being closed for the investigation.
The name of the victim will be released when family has been notified.
