Two former Roane County school buildings will soon be up for auction.
The school board voted to auction off the former Dyllis Elementary School and Walnut Hill Elementary School properties, as well as another parcel of land the system owns off Eureka Road in Rockwood.
The date and time for the auction have not yet been set.
The minimum bid for the Dyllis Elementary property will start at $70 thousand dollars.
The minimum for Walnut Hill is $25 thousand dollars.
The single parcel of property will start at $5 thousand dollars.
Both schools closed within the past few years.
There will be an auction at Walnut Hill on Saturday, to sell off furniture, food service and other equipment from the schools.
