Knoxville police are searching for the person responsible for shooting a man twice in the leg.
It happened around 8:45 p.m. Saturday on West Scott Avenue in Western Heights, according to a release from police.
Police responded to a call of shots fired and found the victim with two gunshot wounds to his leg.
While he was alert when officers tried to interview him, they say he was not able to provide any useful information about the suspect or how he was shot.
He was transported to UT Medical Center for treatment.
Officers canvassed the area and found two .45 shell casings.
