Regal Entertainment Group held a premiere of the upcoming Kevin James picture for Sony Pictures "Here Comes the Boom". James was scheduled to attend a benefit screening for the movie on October 1 but was unable to attend. A representative for Regal blames bad weather in Atlanta.
James was scheduled to appear in East Tennessee to benefit Variety-The Children's Charity of Eastern Tennessee. Regal says they'll go ahead with the planned screening for "Here Comes the Boom" including a reception and VIP tent. James called one of the children that Variety helps.
