Some East Tennessee schools are taking home this year's SCORE prizes.
John Sevier Elementary School in Maryville City Schools is the 2012 SCORE elementary school winner, and Hamblen County schools is this year's district winner.
The middle and high school awards went to schools in middle and west Tennessee.
The winners were recognized in Nashville on Monday for dramatically improving student achievement.
John Sevier Elementary, as well as the winning middle and high schools will get $10,000.
Hamblen County Schools will get $25,000.
