WASHINGTON (AP) -- A Republican-led House committee will hold a hearing today on diplomatic security in Libya, a month after the attack at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi that killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans.

Congressman Darrell Issa, chair of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, has accused the State Department of ignoring pleas from its diplomats in Libya to increase security in the months and weeks before the attack.
