A book that created controversy will remain in the classroom after a
committee investigated it.
"Robopocalypse" was assigned to students at Hardin
Valley Academy. A parent of a 14-year-old student complained to the school about what he described as foul language in the book.
A committee made up of members from Knox County Schools met twice to discuss the book. They recommended that teachers keep the book in the curriculum, however, they did recommend that they offer a disclaimer for parents stating that the book contains mature language and some violence.
