105 rescue squads from around the state have traveled to Knoxville to learn new skills and have some fun squaring off against other teams.
It's all part of the 57th annual convention and symposium, a four-day event featuring training, competitions, vendors and exhibitions. The event is at the Marriott Hotel in Downtown Knoxville.
Teams from Memphis all the way to East Tennessee show off their skills in competitions like vehicle, medical and rope rescues.
A public officer from Blount County says the teams have one goal in mind: winning. One event organizer says winners will go home with the ultimate prize-- the bragging rights.
