Third Annual Oktoberfest
Wears Valley 3rd Annual Oktoberfest will be held October 19, 20, and 21. Vendors open at 10:00 a.m. Festivities include arts and crafts, food, children's activities, and a singing competition. Bill Landry from "The Heartland Series" will make a special appearance.

Country singer and winner of the 30th Texaco Country Showdown Laurel Wright will perform a free fan appreciation concert on Tuesday, October 16. The concert will be in Friendsville and begins at 7 p.m. at The Meeting Place. The concert is free.
