Authorities in Hawkins County say a car crashed into a kitchen and wet leaves along with high speeds are to blame.
The Rogersville Police Department says the car was turning onto Gray Street when the driver lost control. The roads were wet, and the driver admitted to police he was going too fast.
The car went into a kitchen of the home where a 63-year-old woman was standing. She has only minor injuries.
The driver was not hurt, and police cited him with failure to maintain proper control.
