Two Knoxville high school graduates earned the highest scores in the state on their advanced placement exams.

Kelli Reese of West High School and Peter Nagy of Farragut High School received the College Board State AP Scholar Award for their performance.

Just 108 students nationwide received the AP Scholar Award this year, out of the more than 2 million students who took the exams.

Reese now attends the University of Alabama. Nagy is studying at Duke University.
