It's a haunted experience that leads the brave through the mysterious history of East Tennessee. Ijams Nature Center held its haunted lantern tour of the Meads Quarry and the Ross Marble Nature Area on Wednesday.
The tour leads folks through the dark and dreary mines, with stories about our most infamous, sinister and unexplained phenomenons.
Organizers say the spooky event is all about enjoying the season.
"It's Halloween; it's a great night to be out, and we just want to get people out to the park, and tell some stories, and have a little fun," said Sabrina Devault.
There's one more haunted Halloween tour left. It's next Thursday, October 25 at 7:30 p.m. You do have to register before hand.
