Firefighters worked Wednesday night to extinguish a house fire on the 500 block of Hickory Road.
The home was vacant with a for sale sign in the front yard. The fire began around 11:30 p.m.
By the time firefighters arrived, the flames had already broken through the roof. Firefighters quickly used their attack lines to extinguish the flames.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire. There are no reported injuries.
