Police arrested a suspect they say shot two women last night.
Three people were sitting in a car on Magnolia Avenue. They got in an argument with a man outside the car.
Police say the suspect, 26-year-old Mitchell Walker, pulled out a gun and shot at the car, injuring the two women.
Both victims, 36-year-old Stephanie Albers and 34-year-old Nicola Bowers, are in stable condition at UT Medical Center.
Walker faces three counts of aggravated assault. He is currently in custody on $180,000 bond.

Two women are recovering at UT Medical Center after they were shot inside a vehicle Tuesday night.
It happened around 10:45 p.m. on East Magnolia Avenue in Knoxville.
According to Knoxville Police, three people were sitting vehicle when an altercation began with man outside the vehicle.
The man produced a handgun and shot into the vehicle striking two females.
The man fled the scene with three other people.
The two females were transported to UT.
One is in critical condition. The other is stable.
No names are being released at this time.
