Testimony continued on Wednesday in the trial for a Knoxville man accused in a child abuse death.
Danny Branam Jr. is charged with aggravated child abuse and felony murder in the death of 18-month-old Brooklyn Stinnett.
Officers were called to Big Oak Apartments in April 2011 where they found the toddler, who wasn't breathing. She died in the hospital a few days later.
Branam was the boyfriend of the child's mother, Brittany Stinnett.
Stinnett is also charged with aggravated child abuse and felony murder. Her trial is currently set to begin on November 26.
