A currently top secret project could bring more than 170 jobs to East Tennessee.
Officials in Loudon County say the currently unnamed European company would move to the Sugarlimb industrial park off I-75 going into Lenoir City.
Officials say the two interstates are especially attractive to the company.
The commission met to talk Monday about possible incentives, basically anything Loudon County can do to make sure the company chooses East Tennessee.
"It's good not only for the county of Loudon, but for the region of East Tennessee and Innovation Valley. There's approximately 170 jobs that will be created, an investment of $70 million has regional impact, not only in Loudon County, but surrounding counties as well," said Patrick Phillips, president of the Loudon County Development Agency.
Since the deal is still secret, the county is currently referring to it as "Project Sparrow."
Leaders hope to announce everything in the coming weeks.
