Most East Tennessee school districts are meeting achievement goals according to the State's Education Report Card out Thursday. That includes Knox County.
In fact, only one district in the Channel 10 viewing area did not meet its so-called achievement measures-- Union County. The district showed declines in a majority of measures according to the report.
Individual school achievement numbers are also out, including average ACT scores.
In Knox County, there's a significant gap in the three-year average between the highest and lowest scores.
Farragut and Bearden had the highest ACT numbers. Austin-East and Fulton had the lowest.
The state average ACT score is 19.6.
